The Team

42 Peaks was founded by Nick Young. With over 30 years in the music industry, Nick comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Nick began his career at Miloco Studios and in 2004 became MD of the studio group. His foresight and expertise turned Miloco into the largest group of studios in the world.

In the 1990s, Nick setup and ran Pussyfoot Records and whilst at Miloco, he also created and ran the DrumDrops sample site.

Alongside Nick, is Kate Fletcher, who was head of studio bookings at Miloco for many years and managed the busy recording studio roster along with the producers and engineers. Kate runs the studio, producer, writer side of 42 Peaks.

With over 30 years experience in the industry we have a great knowledge of management, distribution, label operations, publishing, licensing, sync, samples, marketing and contractual negotiations. We also provide music consultancy for established industry giants such as Sony Music, as well as individuals. We love developing new artists and we’re passionate about putting fresh music out into the world.

42 Peaks was setup to manage the roster of artists, producers, writers, mix engineers and a boutique selection of studios. We pride ourselves on our expert knowledge of running studios and organising high end recording sessions, so whatever your needs - we can make it happen!
